1. Is electrodiagnostic testing within the scope of practice of chiropractic laws and is it
reimbursable by third party payors?

This is the most frequently asked question that we receive. The answer is a generalized YES -
however, there are some caveats. Most states allow D.C.s to perform nerve conduction studies,
evoked potentials and needle EMG. Some states, however, do not allow D.C.s to perform needle
EMG. You are encouraged to contact your state board to determine the legality of the performance
of needle EMG as it may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. In general, most state permit D.C.s
to perform all aspects of edx with appropriate training.

2. How much does it cost to complete the course?

The tuition for the program varies somewhat based on location. Currently, our NY program is
675.00 per module, while the FL program is 575.00 per module. The tuition variation is based
primarily on the costs associated with course delivery at the various locations. Discounts of 10%
are offered if the full course tuition is paid by the end of the first module.

3. Does the program teach me to not only perform the tests but also interpret them and write
reports?

Yes - the program is designed to take one with zero knowledge of the field to being able to
perform all tests and to be able to compose a report indicating findings. The program was
designed to allow the successful candidate the ability to be able to perform and interpret testing
completely "in house".

4. Does one get any "hands on" experience in the course?

YES!  In fact, NDX is very proud to offer the only known program of edx training that guarantees a
two doctor to machine ratio at each and every weekend. We know of no other program currently
offered in the US that offers this guarantee. This allows one to gain maximum "hands on"
exposure each weekend.

5. Can other health care providers register for this course?

Yes! We have many DO, MD , DPM, and DPT complete our program
